Hike to Tsaghkunyats lake
On June 14, we’re heading to Tsaghkunyats Lake!

The trail to this high-altitude lake in the Kotayk region begins in Aghveran, winding through forest paths and gradually ascending toward the lake.
After relaxing by the lake and enjoying the scenery, we will return via a different trail. This route passes through higher elevations and offers beautiful panoramic views of the valleys and surrounding mountains, giving us the opportunity to experience the same landscape from a different perspective.
After the hike, we will visit the village of Karashamb, where we will enjoy tea at Zove rural cottage and meet a welcoming family who moved there from Yerevan. We will hear their story and learn more about the village, its culture, and local life.
Bnamard hikes are organized in small groups, offering a more authentic experience. Beyond walking along beautiful trails, you’ll have the opportunity to connect more closely with nature, learn about the local biodiversity, and hear the stories of the places we visit.

Meeting point: Sakharov Square, Yerevan

Participation fee: 15,000 AMD
The fee includes:
• Transportation
• Hiking guide service
• Tea infusion time in Karashamb village
Participants should bring:
• Comfortable hiking shoes
• Comfortable clothing (no jeans or shorts)
• Warm clothing
• A change of clothes
• A backpack
• A rain jacket
• Personal first-aid supplies
• Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
• Water
• Food for one day
• Hiking poles (if you use them)
