Your Guide

Walking Together

I founded Bnamard out of a deep love for Armenia’s wild places and the communities that call them home. As your guide, I share knowledge about local plants, wildlife, and ecosystems – but more importantly, I connect you with the people and stories that give these landscapes meaning.

“Every hike is an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and experience nature not as a tourist, but as a welcomed guest.”

Ani was a fantastic guide, friendly and super helpful. I told her that I wanted to hike in Dilijan Park and visit some monasteries, so she proposed several route options and she answered all my questions. We hiked from Parz Lake to Gosh Lake, visited Goshavank monastery, then she also took me to visit Haghartsin monastery. It was a beautiful day, I am very pleased with how she welcomed me to Armenia and how she guided me along the trail. I will definitely return to Armenia and will ask her to be my hiking guide again!

Ani is an amazing guide! She led our group to a hike in the mountains near Vanadzor, Lori region. And we had asked for a special focus on biodiversity. She has such a good knowledge of local plants, birds and animal species. We learned a lot and enjoyed the hike a lot. We had a group of not skillful hikers and it was important for us that she took care of everyone, she also had a 1st aid kit and was ready to emergencies if needed (which did not happen:) Ani is really experienced, professional and a super interesting person, too. I'm planning to go to another hike with her again soon.

I spent four days traveling with Ani in Armenia and can highly recommend her. Ani is very adaptable, creative in dealing with all kinds of situations, and flexible. She knows her country, its nature, culture, and people very well. You can rely on her completely in every sense. Ani is hospitable, generous, and an interesting companion. Her athleticism, safety in nature and on the mountains, perfect planning and information, many valuable tips, extensive knowledge, and ability to respond to her guests and their wishes are what set her apart.
